Terms of sale

ScareEm is run by Nembrix ("we", "us"). Nembrix is the seller of everything you buy here, and your card statement shows the payment as NEMBRIX* SCAREEM. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Your order is confirmed when your payment succeeds and we send you a confirmation email.

We may cancel an order, with a full refund, if the item has sold out at our partner, if the price shown was obviously wrong, or if we suspect fraud. We'll always tell you why.

Prices are in euros and are the final price you pay for the goods, including any VAT that applies. Delivery is shown separately before you pay.

Early Black Friday: every year from 1 October to the last Friday before Halloween (30 October this year), products are sold at the sale prices shown on the site. A struck-through price is our regular price, which was also our lowest price in the 30 days before the sale. Sale prices apply to orders paid during the sale; the price you pay is the one shown in your bag and on the payment page.

Bundles: when your bag holds every piece of a bundle, those pieces may cost less together and are shown with the discount before you pay. Orders of two or more items ship free. Discount codes are not accepted.

Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order.

Orders are sent to you directly by our fulfilment partner and normally arrive in 7–14 business days. The delivery policy has the details.

Photos and measurements come from the maker. Anything shown only for styling, such as shoes, bags or props, is listed as not included on the product page.

Colours can look slightly different from screen to screen, and hand-applied finishes such as blood splatters vary from piece to piece.

Costumes and inflatable suits are not toys for young children. Keep inflatables away from open flames and sharp objects, keep the fan's air intake clear, and follow the age guidance on each product page.

You have 30 days to return unworn items (see Returns & refunds), and a two-year legal guarantee against faults (see Faulty items).

Our liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where our business is registered. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the EU country you live in.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
